佐藤朋子｜Tomoko SATO

1990年長野県生まれ、神奈川在住。2018年東京藝術大学大学院映像研究科メディア映像専攻修了。都市や地域に潜在する出来事や記憶の層を起点に、リサーチに基づいた芸術実践を行っている。語りやレクチャーを媒介に、文献や証言、場の痕跡などの断片を編み合わせ、複数の時間軸が交差する構造を扱う。

Born in Nagano in 1990, currently based in Kanagawa. Received her M.F.A. in Film and New Media from the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts. Her artistic practice is research-based and begins with events and layers of memory embedded in cities and regions. Using narration and lecture-based formats, she weaves together fragments such as documents, testimonies, and traces of place, addressing structures in which multiple timelines intersect.
