『オバケ東京のためのインデックス 東アジア編』は、シアターコモンズ’25で発表された、レクチャー・パフォーマンスとウォークによって構成される作品である。クジラやゴジラといった人間ではない存在を語り手として導入し、海域から都市へと視点を移動させながら、近代化や植民地主義の歴史を読み解く。後半では参加者とともに都市を歩き、語りと歩行を往復する身体的な実践を通して、現在の都市空間に刻まれた記憶を立ち上げていく。
本映像作品は、このレクチャー・パフォーマンスとウォークをもとに再構成されたものである。現地での語り、移動、参加者の身体的経験を、記録としてではなく、編集によって新たな時間軸へと組み替えることで、場所に結びついた経験を、時間と距離を隔てて共有可能な形式として提示する。

Index for Obake Tokyo: East Asia Chapter is a work composed of a lecture-performance and a walk, presented at Theater Commons Tokyo ’25. Introducing nonhuman narrators such as whales and Godzilla, it shifts perspective from the sea to the city in order to examine histories of modernization and colonialism. In the latter half, the work moves into a collective walk through the city, activating memories inscribed in contemporary urban space through an embodied practice that oscillates between narration and walking.
This video work is re-edited from the lecture-performance and walk. Rather than presenting the event as straightforward documentation, it rearranges the narration, movement, and embodied experiences of participants through editing, translating a site-specific encounter into a time-based form that can be shared across temporal and spatial distance.
